AP EAPCET Counseling Starts From 25th October, Web Options 1st November: Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) counseling process to be started from last week of October. AP EAPCET Counselling schedule and concerned information will be revealed on 21st October. AP EAPCET Admission committee has conducted a conference on Monday in Higher Education Council. AP Higher Education Council Chainman Professor K Hemachandra Reddy, Admission Committee Convener, Special Commissioner of Technical Education Dr. Pola Bhaskar, Secretary of Council Professor K. Sudhir Premkumar, CET Special Officer Dr. M Sudhir Reddy, and others have participated in the meeting. The meeting was held to discuss the AP EAPCET admissions counseling process.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) is going to conduct the counseling process in 6 installments to offer admissions into IIT, NIT, IIIT, and other colleges. JOSAA Counselling’s last installment is going to be completed by 27th October. After that, the AP EAPCET Counseling process is going to take place. AP EAPCET Toppers scored the best ranks in JEE Mains and Advanced. In this context, initially, JOSAA is planning to conduct the AP EAPCET counseling and to offer admissions. Candidates who scored best ranks in JEE may opt for IIT, NIT, and other organizations. The seats allotted to them in the colleges here will become vacant and will have to be re-allocated at the next counseling. Due to this students may face problems. If students have already paid the fee and submitted the certificates, it will be difficult for them to get them again. Students will be beneficial if the JEE Counselling is conducted first and the EAPCET Counselling is conducted next. Students with good merit will opt the apt colleges for admissions. AP EAPCET Admission Committee is focusing on all the concerns about the admissions. The committee is observing the possibility to conduct the AP EAMCET Admission counseling process after the JEE Counselling process is completed. On 21st October, another meeting will be led by Higher Education Council in the presence of AP Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh and going to confirm the details of the AP EPACET Counselling schedule.
35% Private University Seats Under Convener Quota
Meanwhile, 35% of private university seats will be considered as Convener quota for AP EAPCET Counselling. The private universities have submitted their applications to the Higher Education Council regarding the fee finalization. The fee is to be finalized by the council by the end of this month and the final orders will be released. After that, the seats will be allotted in convener, merit, and reservation quota.
