In the state of Karnataka, the admission into MBBS and BDS Courses will be offered based on NEET score. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Examination for aspirants seeking admission into MBBS and BDS courses. The NEET examination was held in 2021 and the result was announced on 2021.
Candidates qualifying this National level examination with good merit will get admission in various MBBS colleges across Karnataka. As per rules, 85% of seats will be offers as state government quota and 15% of seats will be offered as All India Quota.
The KEA has done with centralised counselling for seat allotment and also published the NEET Combined merit list in jan 2022 for qualified aspirants. As per the NEET UG Combined Merit List, 36591 hopefuls are eligible to get admission for the academic year 2021-22.
Depending upon the choices of students the KEA has announced the mock allotment results couple of days back. Also, the KEA has opened the optional entry facility on the same day. The KEA has earlier announced the NEET 1st round allotment results will be published on 7th feb.
Students who got the seat in 1st allotment can download the seat allotment order to report at the allocated college. Or they can wait until the next round of seat allotment process.
